The President Droupadi Murmu Meets The King Charles III Ahead of The Queen’s Funeral in London

Prior to Queen Elizabeth’s formal funerals, which were on September 19 at Westminster Abbey in London, President Droupadi Murmu met King Charles III on Sunday (September 18) at Buckingham Palace.

Numerous international leaders, monarchs, and other dignitaries attended the funeral. Foreign royals and world leaders joined the Queen’s family at the state funeral, which was broadcast to hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

The Queen’s coffin is lying in state at Westminster Hall in London, where the president showed respect for the monarch. President Murmu signed the condolence book for Queen Elizabeth II at Lancaster House, located close to Buckingham Palace in London.

Following her state funeral on September 19, Queen Elizabeth was buried alongside Prince Philip at St. George’s Chapel. The tiny chapel at Windsor Castle also holds the graves of her parents.
