India Makes History as Chandrayaan 3 Lands on the Moon

Source - Business Upside India

With the successful landing of the Lander Module from ISRO's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan 3, India has achieved an incredible milestone, marking the nation's successful landing on lunar soil. Notably, this accomplishment also makes India the first country to ever accomplish a soft landing close to the southern pole of the Moon.

The Lander Module of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on July 14, travelled to the lunar surface before making a smooth landing on August 23. This achievement cemented India's place as the fourth country in the world to successfully complete a soft lunar landing, after the former USSR, the United States, and China.
